🔐 Buyer Protection & Responsibilities

Last updated: November 6, 2025

1) Secure Escrow Payment

Fanshap holds the full payment in escrow and releases it to the seller only after shipment is confirmed. The seller receives funds once proof of dispatch is verified by our system.

Payments on Fanshap are executed on the Solana blockchain using SPL tokens. For each listing, the seller may accept USDC, USDT, or FSHAP. This clause does not alter the escrow logic or the responsibilities defined herein. On-chain transfers are irreversible—double-check token and amount before confirming.

2) Shipping Address Accuracy

Buyers must ensure shipping addresses in their profile are accurate and complete in Latin characters and local script (if different), to avoid delivery issues. Errors, delays, or lost shipments due to inaccurate address are the buyer’s responsibility.

3) Customs & Import Restrictions

The seller’s profile displays the origin country. Buyers are responsible for verifying any import restrictions, prohibited items, duties, or taxes in their country. Customs delays or item detention must be handled by the buyer.

4) Liability Transfers After Shipment

From the moment the seller ships the item, responsibility for integrity, delay, or loss passes to the courier. Fanshap and sellers are not liable post-dispatch; buyers must contact the shipping provider for claims.

5) Incoterms® in Cross-Border Transactions

Fanshap transactions may reference Incoterms® (ICC 2020) to clarify risk and cost transfer. Common terms include:

  • EXW (Ex Works): the buyer arranges collection and bears all risk and cost from the seller’s premises.
  • FCA, CPT, CIF: the seller delivers to a carrier; the buyer takes on risk once handed over. Under CIF, the seller also provides insurance until carrier pickup.
  • DAP/DPU/DDP: the seller delivers goods to the buyer’s location (DAP) or unloads (DPU). Under DDP, the seller also handles import duties.

Definitions align with ICC Incoterms® 2020 and clarify the point at which risk passes from seller to buyer.

6) EU Consumer Rights (when applicable)

When the seller is a business shipping to buyers in the EU, EU consumer protection laws apply—covering transparency, withdrawal rights, warranty, and liabilities. For sellers outside the EU, extra processing time or documentation may apply.

7) Legal Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

Contractual disputes regarding payment, shipping, or delivery are governed by Fanshap’s Terms of Service and jurisdiction (as published in the legal notice). International trade guidelines (e.g., UNCITRAL, CISG) may supplement dispute resolution, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections applicable to you.
